Chapter Summary
Chapter 1: Rainbow of Hope, On February 2, 1974, Shin'ichi Yamamoto and his wife, Mineko, traveled to Okinawa. Shin'ichi was determined to put various plans in motion, setting forth guidelines for the future and igniting a flame of inspiration in the heart of each member in Okinawa that would spur them to dynamic growth. A beautiful rainbow spanned the blue sky above Miyakojima Island just as the airplane was arriving.
Chapter 2: Song of Triumph, Departing Japan on March 7, 1974, Shin'ichi had been scheduled to visit the United States, Brazil and Peru but he was not able to obtain a visa to Brazil. The Brazilian authorities were under the illusion that the Soka Gakkai was a political organization masquerading as a religion. They mistakenly regarded it as a dangerous movement with an agenda to disrupt Brazilian society. He traveled for the first time to Panama and then to Peru.
Chapter 3: Sunlight, On March 28, 1974, at four in the afternoon, Shin'ichi Yamamoto and his group departed from Lima bound for Los Angeles arriving, at the Malibu Training Center.
Chapter 4: Treasure Tower, In the Soka Gakkai organization, this reagion encompasses Ishikawa and Toyama prefectures.
